What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I find myself reaching for this knife quite often.
The TL-29, it pairs up nicely with my CeeTees, Ive gotta make me a sheath for this pair someday.
I dont know why, but I'm quite found of this knife.

What you need Peter, is one of those belt sheaths we had in the army. All the como people had one, it held a pair of pliers or linemans snips and a TL-29.

As for what I'm carrying today; My ever present classic in keyring sheath, my yella peanut in pocket with the Sears 4-way screwdriver and P-38 on my keeyring.

Multi-tools? We don't need any steenking multi-tools! we're traditionalists!

Thanks for the tip jackknife,
I did some searching and only came up with this:
A CS-34 tool pouch (The snips are TL-13A):
Picture borrowed from an ended bay auction

Id does look pretty neat, so If this is what you were talking about, I guess I'm off to the bay.

ps: you're right about multitools :P

Stockman, is that an Imperial in your pictures? Looks just like one I keep in my pickup...

As for me, I've been boring lately. Case yellow Barehead slimline trapper. SAK Executive. The more time I spend with those two, the more I like them both.

Suggestion:
Get a pair of Klien 9" lineman pliers instead of the slip pliers.
Mine are 30 years old, and still cut 10 penny nails!

Sure it is an Imperial in my picture, sixgunner, I don't know about the bay picture though.
Today it will be the TL-29 paired up with my Opinel#8 and a pair of Knipex Lineman's pliers, just to see how they ride in my Back pocket.
(Thanks for the suggestion neeman, Ive never had Klein so far, might try one and compare them to my Knipex stuff.)

4" R. Bose BP ..the one in my avi. Same one that's in my pocket every day. :) For yard work I still use a fixed blade I was lucky enough to win here last summer.

Thanks. May have to get one. I've seen them before in a lockback version I think. Not sure. They look very durable.

There was a big thread about them in BRL's forum a while back, just click on the link.
They are made out of stamped metal parts, and durable as anything. A lot of knife for the money.

Today its been a Buck 119 and a Opinel #8 for me.

Just got my first Mercator a little while back, slim comfortable carry, carbon blade solid fit and finish, good working knife.
