What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I have been carrying my Great Grandfather's Knife when I am on my days off. It's old and battered, but has a razor's edge

For the Bigger jobs I use my Case Soddie Jr

I really like that knife that Ossa is carrying. (The one that belonged to his Great Grand dad.)

Vic Pruner and
Case Bone Stag Large Stock knife CV (I don't carry this one often, but today I wanted to go to work in style;))

Its been a Vic Pioneer for me today, once I get home I'll switch it for my trusted Little fin/TL-29/CeeTee combo

Queen large Texas Toothpick in Cocobolo and D2. Been needing a larger blade to cut apples lately...

Case Med. stockman CV w/amber bone scales. My current favorite knife. Oh yeah a Buck Alpha Dorado in a sheath on my hip too.

Anyone remember these little gems? Schrade 3rd Generation. I was feeling nostalgic this morning and put it in my pocket.

Anyone have any pics of a sowbelly with just the main blade fully opened? I've always been intrigued by this pattern. Looks quite "pocketable." Thanks in advance. :)

(BTW, for me today, it's my harvest orange SS Case peanut ....... again.)

they sit in the pocket well. Not fully open....With the sowbelly, the spey blade has a very forward angle when open making it unique.

Thanks for the Sowbelly link. That's a beautiful knife. What is the name of the shield on that one? It looks like a woman's corset to me. Is it supposed to be something else?

I have the twin sibling of that knife also made by Reese Bose and it's a dandy!

Tony and comany refer to that as a "sowbelly" shield, though Kerry (Knifehead) likes to call it Barbie's Swimsuit. ;)
