What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I have to say, these look wonderful, particularly that GEC.

Ouch! They are BIG!

Oh WOW! That folder is pure class. Its like the sophisticated cousin of the EnZo Birk.
Lovely stuff.

We didn't see it on this photo but there is a " contre-tranchant " ( sorry I do not know how we say in English ) on the back of the blade which we do not find on the Enzo, who is a very beautiful knife to.

I had an incling of a "false edge" in the first photo, but wasn't sure if it was a shadow or the background.

That really is something special. Thank you for an extra photo treat!

Knifemaker: David Lespect, I love his products..

Not silly, and it can be used to chemically burn the stag giving it the dark brown/black shades. It was all worn down from carry.

Hi, I hope this is not a silly question but what do you use the potassium permenganate for?

Kris,.

The Peanut was the only knife in my pocket today... it was riding the watchpocket very nice :D

 Oh, is that the burnt stag GEC refer to?

Someone will hopefully correct me if I am wrong but to my eyes most of GEC burnt stag looks torch burned. From what I understand makers will use singly or a combination of dyes, potassium permanganate and a torch.
