  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

this today ... patina was forced in response to some spotting (many moons ago), and has evolved from there ...

It's a reproduction Remington 3 1/2" Baby Trapper manufactured by Camillus in 1991 to tote today. It'll come in handy when we bag grass clippings and weeds this afternoon. Sun's out again today so, we might as well take advantage of it and tidy up the yards.

I really like the looks of a Case 6318, except for the crazy-high sheepsfoot; good to know that you could lower it by filing the kick. I didn't realize that the amber bone stockman you posted was NOT a 6318. My favorite Case stockman pattern is the x347.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Top one has a filed kick:

One thing to note - these are the "PU" version with a punch. It rides lower than the spey. I'm not sure the sheepsfoot could be lowered this much with the spey. With the punch, this one could be lowered a little bit more and still be accessible.

A pair of Sheffield stunners there JJ, they go together very well :)
Thanks a whole lot, Jack!!! :)
Enjoy your Sunday everyone :) Carrying my Hartshead Barlow, and hanging onto my Ukrainian belt knife

A great belt knife is always an excellent companion to a great lambsfoot slicer; a very cool image of your HHB perched atop its shavings work, too!;):thumbsup::thumbsup:
Many thanks JJ, I had a nice day :)
