What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm going to be away for a few days from tomorrow morning, staying in a beautiful old village called Castleton in the English Peak District national park. I don't think the internet signal is very good out there, so any posts I'm able to make will be fleeting, but I will have a few knives with me :) Wishing everyone a great weekend

Thanks Mike, I lost both my internet and phone signal the other night  That's exactly why I'm taking the Roach Belly my friend :) Plus, the last time I went to a similar (but bigger) event like this, I was the only person, out of about 25 of us involved in setting-up, that had a knife, and I won't worry too much about having to lend the RB to someone inherently stupid! 🤣

Gotta have a corkscrew. Have a great time, Jack!

Bullet 2 blade at breakfast then SAK soldier later on.

Sammy Millers motorcycle museum was overwhelming I need a lot more visits to take it all in.

btb01 btb01 Take care of your selves!

My family went 2 for 4 with only the young'uns testing positive. They got over it with minimal symptoms, but keeping them at home wasn't so pleasant 🤣

Oh bummer, I hope all the symptoms are mild and short lived.

Oh no! :( Hope you're all OK, and that you're over it quickly Barrett

Get well soon!!

Thanks, y’all. So far it hasn’t been too bad. My wife has no symptoms, Scout has the sniffles, Eleanor’s was the negative test. I’ve had mild cold-like symptoms, but also lost my sense of smell, which prompted the testing. Thankfully that’s already coming back a bit. Now I’m going to go find some wood to knock on. 😉

Are those home tests?
Hope you’re all negative soon. Positively speaking.
You’ll be really sick of daytime tv!

Yes, they are. We’ve mostly been watching kids’ movies, but I’m used to that. 😁

A friction folder by Michael Morris. He uses spent files to make his blades. Cool factor is off the charts on his work.

Nice to see one of those MM friction folders  When I first started posting here, a few folks had them. Always thought they looked really cool

MM does make some really cool knives. I should carry mine more often.
