Thanks, y’all. So far it hasn’t been too bad. My wife has no symptoms, Scout has the sniffles, Eleanor’s was the negative test. I’ve had mild cold-like symptoms, but also lost my sense of smell, which prompted the testing. Thankfully that’s already coming back a bit. Now I’m going to go find some wood to knock on. 😉
Glad things aren't too bad Barrett, I hope it stays that way :)
MM does make some really cool knives. I should carry mine more often.
Definitely!
Looks like you’ll be prepared for anything, Jack. 🙂 Have a nice trip!
Hope so buddy :D Thanks :)

Bizarre huh? There was about 5 days set-up involved on an isolated farm, with all sorts of practical jobs to do, as well as all the cooking, and not one of them thought to bring a knife (or a can-opener, or a bottle-opener). Fortunately I had a few  I gave a SAK to a friend's daughter a few years back, when she was going on a school's trip/expedition to Ecuador for 3 months. There were about a hundred kids there, average age 17 or 18, from all over the world, and she had the only knife/bottle-opener/can-opener too. Incredible isn't it?! o_O  😖

I was the only person, out of about 25 of us involved in setting-up, that had a knife,

It’s funny how we’re all “crazy knife people” until someone needs a knife; and sometimes they still give you a weird look -while you’re handing them the knife to use, as to why you have have it.

Every-time I’m out and the Mrs needs one of my knives to cut something I, jokingly, have to give her a hard time as well.

I’m just happy I live in a state that has such relaxed knife laws.

Have a great time on your trip sir!
