Just for grins I'm carrying this Harness Jack for the first time (I think). Not sure it'll get used, but we'll see what the day brings.

Thanks. It’s by Joey Roman, he calls it the Neckr Jr. This one isn’t in his usual 1095, pretty sure it is 52100. Scales are a resin pour into a crushed aluminum honeycomb. Here is the other side.

I went for my walk earlier, then sat on my bench to cool off, out back in the shade. I had that knife out (folded) and got up to go inside, when a bumble bee buzzed my head. I swatted with my right hand and some how hit my left hand and that knife went sailing, fortunately landing in the wet grass. Glad I wasn't entered in any GAW's currently or would have likely landed on the bricks.

Headed to town in a bit. First stop is the Post Office and then it's gonna be time to put on the armor and go to the bank to negotiate a new percentage rate for a CD. I'll need a hearty lunch after that so it'll be off to the Wagon Wheel Cafe for Chicken Fried Steak with white gravy and mashed potatoes followed by stops at the Holiday Market, Four Corners Market, and Grocery Outlet. Gotta fill up the new refrigerator. I'll be totin "Patch". Plenty of knife for today's missions.

Others have mentioned that the difficulty obtaining new GECs has led them to explore other brands. If GECs were mostly easily available, I might not have tried the knives from Maniago. The LionSteels and Foxes and Vipers (oh my!).

Budding persimmon flowers attract bees. There is low level buzzing outside my kitchen door right now. It should ramp up in the next few days. Kind of cool to hear an entire tree buzzing


The tree flowers every year, but never produces any fruit. My understanding is this means its probably a guy.

I've been carrying the Boker Club Gent's knife a lot. It just fits my EDC needs really well. It dawned on me that the Harness Jack is very similar. Both make a nice slim carry and the wide spear lends itself to many tasks. Thought I'd offer these images to make my point.

Those really are surprisingly similar aren't they Gary? I passed on the Harness Jack, but Duncan Campbellclanman very kindly sent me one. It needed a bit of work, sanding the tang on the punch, if I remember correctly. It's a very sharp punch isn't it, but I don't have that much use for a punch like that? I do like the Spearpoint blade though, and the overall feel of the knife, and the punch doesn't take up any extra space

That's an excellent Case Duo, GT.
