What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

All I could find for R640045 is that it's a red bone centennial camp/scout knife 🤔
I guess it will just be another little pocket knife mystery unless somebody knowledgeable chimes in.
Oh my gosh, I posted the wrong tang stamp earlier.
And even after you questioned it, I still didn't catch my mistake.
That's what kind of crazy day I was having. Here, let me post the correct picture...

Good morning slicey friends. Two-fer today; back to totin’ the 36 so you get an India pic with it.

This is a small (maybe tin?) box that was made in India that my parents gave me when I was little. How it has survived I have no idea… I had to sneak into my sons room and nab it because I gave it to him a few years back. It’s the perfect home - and perfect fit - for the 36 so I may need to find something else to trade him to get it back 😆

Note: No matter how I try to take a picture, the massive bolsters are always reflecting something - in this case you get a small peak of me if you zoom in lol. It could dual as a makeup mirror for the wifey when we’re out and about 😂

Downright scary!😱

It does look like that little box was made for that knife.

Ha! :D
I wondered about that, but there's so many oddities and so much I don't know about pocket knives, I didn't feel comfortable questioning it. In any event its been educational, because I was unaware of the 45 pattern and read a fairly long thread about it over at AAPK. Learning new stuff is always a good thing thumb.gif
