What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Did not get to post yesterdays carry due to Blade Forums being down so I will post it today .

And I will carry the Farmers Jack today . Will be Out and About so I will not carry my $ 28 Plus Freight Pruner.
Have a great day my friends .
@Amir Fleschwund : Have a Safe and a very enjoyable trip Jeff .
Harry
That Pruner has taken on mythological status Harry, what a find! The Envyometer soars off the scale :D

Also, one of my very favourite user GEC knives of all time, no garden is complete without one, I'm sure our friend Lyle would agree

Thanks, Will

Always liked those Mink Skinners, something of a rarity and a beautiful user you have. Is that Church Glass Acrylic? Wonderful example .

IIRC knifeswapper knifeswapper had a seriously sick kid.

Yes, not frequenting BF as much as I would like. The boy is on the mend from ALL, the wife had 7 year old breast cancer come back and caught us off guard (it was stage0 in 2014 and she had double mastectomy with full containment; came back stage4 in her bones). That and the mess going on domestically and abroad just has me anti-social these days. Not depressed - just numb. The economy has business near nil except for GEC releases. Hopefully my bad attitude changes soon.... ;)

Sorry to hear this, Mike. Hope things turn around and start improving for you soon.

1952 British Army clasp knife the year the Queen started her reign and carried in her honour.

I have a couple of Guards story's I could tell you, both involving the COs (or gods as we would have thought of them at the time) of 2 different Guards Battalions I met on separate occasions.

My cousin was at the parade watching, his son was playing with the Coldstreams band.

My cousin joined the Army as a bandsman in 1983 the year I left he has gone from private to captain.

I didnt make it past lance jack, though I have more hair than him 😂

He is also one of the Soldiers group his dad (my uncle) was very nearly in the Troggs who are from Andover where I was born he knows them from school.

parade photos are off the telly,I was at home.

Glad to hear your boy is doing better
Sorry to hear about your wife. Best wishes and hope she beats it again 🙏

Good evening, Porchenburgers! I hope I didn't miss anything important.
I've only been reading a tiny bit here now and then, while my mother was visiting for the past two weeks. (88 years old; we didn't want to spend much of our time staring at screens) She lives in NYC, and wanted to see some dark skies and stars, so we took a road trip out to the Hill Country. I decided to carry my new Gator 88, and it came in handy at a little picnic in Lost Maples State Natural Area. Unfortunately, it was too cloudy for stargazing, but we got to sit and watch some lovely mammatus clouds, sunset, and a lightening storm on the other side of the hills.

I probably don't really need both of these.

Maybe one of these:

Or, Kutmaster and Gebr. Hoppe!

My mind no longer has the discipline to make such a plethora of decisions each morning! o_O :(
I'm glad I have my weekly rotation schedule to simplify my life. 🤓
Of course if I had that "Janus" sheep/spear Kutmaster, one simplification I'd make is to carry that one every day!:thumbsup::cool:

I carry today this A.Wright & Son Lambsfoot in stag.
...
Superior stag samples, José! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

...
Just kidding. It's a 54 Tin Woody, that my wife fell in love with.

I remember (barely) Chevies like that; love the exterior visor running the width of the windshield!:cool::thumbsup:

This one is the A.Wright Lambfoot that Harry gave me. It’s rosewood. You’re thinking of my other LF...
Thanks for setting me straight, Jeff. :) I thought I remembered your walnut lambs foot being a TEW, rather than a Wright, but I don't trust my memory as much as I used to.

Thank you, Harry. Between us three plus my wife’s parents all flying out of Milwaukee, and our three Georgia peaches (my late son’s legacy) flying out of Atlanta, and then counting the four already there, I have reserved a 12 passenger van.
Should be quite a circus.

Starting with these today. View attachment 1834028
Preeminent pair, Todd! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Sod Buster Jr … A bedtime story when there were too many Blade Forum 522 Errors last night !!!

And they all lived happily ever after. The End

I'm not eloquent enough to ever tell that story, Jim, but I have an amber bone SBJr just like yours and I know what you're talking about!:cool::cool:

That's a sublime stockman, and I'm not just whistlin' Dixie!:thumbsup::cool:

Beautiful bone on that Schrade jack, Steve!:thumbsup::cool:

Prayers for you and your family, Mike.

That's an excellent knife, good looking too. 🤠
Thanks, John; I totally agree with your assessment. :)
