What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Very cool Dwight
Rain in June...
Looks like that Sheffield Lamb took the Sheffield weather with it! :D ;)
I have no plans to leave the property today, but I've been toting this Case XX Changer around the yard looking for photo ops, so I guess it counts ;)

Interesting pattern Mike. I remember Buck doing a model like that in the 90's, and it's certainly an old idea, dating back to the 19th century

Thanks for posting that Jack  It has some interesting attachments.
When I was posting the Case, I wondered how long knives with exchangeable blades had been around, i.e. would be traditional enough?

hanks JJ, I did :) Just posted a few pics in the Guardians thread

Wishing everyone a great Sunday

Sticking with these two

You certainly had a great day in the woods, the target shooting looks like a blast, too! Excellent post hike pairing for your Sunday slicing, lovely too! :D ;):thumbsup:

Thanks Mike, that German example is from the early 20th century, but they go back further, and were quite common at one time

Thank you very much my friend :)
I grabbed these two from Sheffield for Sunday. :)
I love the way those two Sheffield Jacks, while built decades apart, pair so well together

I love looking at your work, it has such a rustic Americana look to it. Simply wonderful. 🤠
Thanks my friend, much appreciated.
Really nice work, Greg. Glad to see someone make good use of buckthorn.
Thanks, Jeff. I'm doing my part but I don't ever think we'll win the battle over the invasive buckthorn in these parts.:)

Carrying this 4-3/8" Klaas knife around today as I tackle some mundane chores at home. Grass cutting, my truck and wife's car washed & waxed, loose door knobs tightened,
really fun stuff. 🙃
