Thank you, Jack... It did indeed. That'll pair great with your Lambsfoot pal!
Sounds like you had a fun week for sure.
I love looking at your work, it has such a rustic Americana look to it. Simply wonderful.
Big Bay? Love it, great knife and yours is gorgeous.
I wish more youth coaches had your attitude. My number one goal as a coach is to make sure my athletes still love the sport when the season is over. Way more important than winning.
Priceless.First thing he asked when we got home was “wanna play catch?” So we did.
GEC did a fantastic job on those knives. I keep wanting to use mine, I really love it. But it's just so pretty that I haven't been brave enough to dirty it up yet. I'm happy to see you carrying yours.
Nice piece of history1978 NKCA knife by Rogers Wostenholm![]()

I suffer from the same affliction.I instinctively reach for my Lambsfoot though!
But then it won't be all pretty and shiny.Send it to me. I'll dirty it up some and send it back
That'll be a glorious day.I’m hoping we can bring our son home from the nicu today
That sharp pointy spatula is growing on me sir! After learning the history of that design/blade I am definitely adding to my list someday (my list seems to be getting longer in stead of shorter…)
Great photo!!
What's all the hoopla about texting anyway? Just call someone for gosh sake. Why text and get yer thumbs tired poking letters on the key pad? The dang things have wi-fi too. Why? I'ver got wi-fi here at the house.
When it’s fun, winning takes care of itself. So glad you guys had a great experience.I was really hoping he would have a coach that kept it fun and he did. They ended up winning a lot, too. He already can’t wait for next season. First thing he asked when we got home was “wanna play catch?” So we did.
Thank you, but it took me some years to get over the “winning is everything” message I was brainwashed with when I participated in sports.I wish more youth coaches had your attitude.![]()
Great looking knife.
That picture really shows off the texture in the Micarta on those two knives, well done.View attachment 1836453
I have a lot of catching up to do, but I had a brief moment snap a picture of what I’m carrying. Thanks again Todd for the boker! I’m hoping we can bring our son home from the nicu today
Such a cool photo John.
Really nice work, Greg. Glad to see someone make good use of buckthorn. Thanks, JW.The cougar clawed bone is attractive jigging IMO too.
USA made small carbon blade that I installed buckthorn scales on and made a leather & raw hide neck sheath for. It's a handy and light weight little fixed blade tote.
Klaas stag whittler for the pocket.
