Yeesh. Stay cool. And nice looking knives there. The smaller one looks like it has some stories to tellThe weather forecast calls for 100+ degree highs every day for the next two weeks. Sigh. The knife budget is now earmarked for electricity bills. Probably until October.
Oh well, I'll play indoors this weekend.

Great looking 48, John!
It’s tough being a black dog on a 100 degree day.

I will be using my no longer pretty, but a favorite anyway, Schrade Walden 294, and my Victorinox Harvester/7.
The leaves are Silver Artemesia, and Columbine, which reminds me that today will be a good day to save Columbine seeds. This is the flower...
When the petals fall off, it leaves a little vase shaped pod that’s full of tiny black seeds.
I like to get them growing all over the place.Thank you, Jim.Great looking 48, John!
A very appropriate instrument for this place.

That's a beaut, John. Congrats!
Song I remember is:Goin down Cripple Creek
Going at a run
Going down Cripple Creek
Have some fun
Going down Cripple Creek
Going at a whirle
Going down Cripple Creek
See my girl
Love playing that one. If a bluegrass song can rock, Cripple Creek rocks.
