Wow. I think the single blades trapper they have is the nicest pattern I’ve seen. And the elk... wow.
I don’t think I posted in this thread today, so here ya go Jeremy!View attachment 1844782
I bought this Craftsman with my employee discount back in the ‘70s. View attachment 1845085
I have a couple of age spots too.
Nice carry for Brass Bolster Wednesday.![]()
Is that stockman a schrade?Yes John! I see that Brass Bolster Wednesday is quite a hit. These are but two of the many participants! Jeff has contributed his lovely Craftsman so I will do the same. Copper is pretty much the same as brass, so I’m adding Todd’s Duracell of awesomeness…and Copper Bolster Wednesday just doesn’t alliterate right like BBW does. Of course I am adding an Osage Orange 29 for Wooden Wednesday because I’m such a stickler about alliteration. Have a Big Blessed Wednesday!

Is the 5OT rehandled or factory? Very nice. I love that model but don’t currently have one.The 301 again because it's both wood and brass for wooden Wednesday and brass bolster Wednesday

And another one of the Schrade 5OT because it's also wood and brass and I had an extra pic

I was going to direct you to my post from Sunday, #223,853Is the 5OT rehandled or factory? Very nice. I love that model but don’t currently have one.
I don't think it's a rehandle, although it could be. I bought it second hand with no box/paperwork, so I've never actually known what it is. Schrade made the 5OT with wood handles for both their Federal Duck Stamp knives and Ducks Unlimited. The knife I have doesn't have any badging, nor a blade etch, but otherwise looks just like the DU knives which featured oak handles.
Thanks. That is a sweet example. Schrade was always top choice for me when I was a kid and still is, and an example like that is a jewel for a schrade collection.I was going to direct you to my post from Sunday, #223,853, but its already 12 pages back (man this thread moves ) so I'll just quote myself instead:
