Sounds like a great plan and a great way to spend time. Electronically off-grid is a great thing. Done it for short term but work requires I get back on grid after short time awayThanks for asking gents. I typically take a technology hiatus in the spring and in the fall, but I was traveling a bit more than typical this spring and didn’t get a chance to. The Changes giveaway that @HST did reminded that for the things I’ve set up in life to calm down my obsessive and addictive tendencies, which being overly tethered to my phone is definitely one of those tendencies. I’ll use the time to hang with kids and sharpen these knives!
I really enjoyed all the pictures of your travels today... Well done!

There is a curious correlation between abused blades and the ability to not show it in photos.I agree about the virtues of coffee cup patina, but only if you drink your coffee black (as one should)
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. My Voos showed up and I'm looking forward to getting it into toting shape.
Some people shouldn't be allowed near a Dremel.

That's my John Lloyd that I've had for years. Really nice stag, CPM-154 blade, about 4" Closed. I used to carry it everyday and wonder why I still don't. If I wasn't a knife nut I doubt I'd ever carry anything else. The folder is great
What is it?
Thank you very kindly, Jack!!! I think they were made by the same cutler, too! That's such a perfect pairing JJ, you'd think those knives were made next to each other![]()

I did not realize there was any other way to drink coffee than straight out of percolator on weekends and k-cup machine during work week.
Lol forward to pictures of those when in toting shape

At least you got some lovely Rogers bone! And knowing you, you’ll make the best of it.
