What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We went to town after all yesterday afternoon but didn't watch the parade. I took Cindy out to a farmer's nursery where she got some potting soil and various plants, hanging baskets, etc. all at half price for a 4th of July sale. Sticking to the SS Sowbelly today. Showing it's Pile Side which doesn't get the limelight very often.

Hola.

I had to go back across the border to Spain for a few reasons.
Number one the crazy/dangerous French driving was getting me down.
I meet so many nice French people, but not when riding or driving.

Two I needed a decent cafe, con leche of course.

Three some food more to my liking.
That patata tortilla home made and fresh is to die for as is the pescado in oil and the basque sausage/tortilla roll.

The driving is much more civil no tailgating nor close undertaking, maybe I am just a wimp but it’s far more relaxing in Spain.

The sleepy village I stopped at had a fiesta along with the very common giants.
I was made most welcome,it was a surprise when the band started playing roll out the barrel.
Everyone was clapping and singing in Spanish.

Monday I start my meandering route north through France to Caen.

…after he flips it around a bit and realizes it doesn’t have a thumb stud. 🤣
Hopefully he won't ask: "How do you open this thing?" and after using it: "Where's the blade lock release?!?" before trying to close it.
Hopefully he won't get upset about using a knife without a locking blade ... and/or be amazed it didn't close on his fingers while cutting his cigar ...

Sadly there are some who honestly believe a nonlocking blade during normal use is a finger amputation waiting to happen. ☹️
I guess they don't realize the normal cutting action forces the blade open ... unless trying to make the cut with the blade spine, of course ...

Very handsome Mr P

Or 'andsome as Bert would have said! 🤣

Thank you Mr. Jack. ☺️
Been a while since I had seen that musical. They don't make em that way now days. I think I first saw that movie at the old Main Street Kentucky theater, long ago. 🤔
Have a nice weekend, with wishes for you to locate many tasty morsels. 🤣 I think I will have one of my Belgian Chocolate ice cream bars.
