Hope everyone is having a blessed, relaxing Sunday with this long weekend!

The Gator has supplanted itself as the EDC over all other knives by brute force. It can basically do anything and everything! - with style

The official cookout out knife is ready as well for dinner at my parents. We’re relaxing on the deck with tunes while the kiddos are resting as well. Beautiful day.

When I first glanced at your pic, I thought the Captain had got a new shield at first! :D

That’s an awesome photo jack! The knife is even better
Another great post Jon. 😎👍
Thanks Todd. I have my daughter thinking captain America is real and that he helped beat the Nazis
What a great themed picture. 🤠
Thanks John. I’m not sure what I’ll do tomorrow, but definitely going with my ‘Merica knife again

Thank you Mr. Jack. ☺️
Been a while since I had seen that musical. They don't make em that way now days. I think I first saw that movie at the old Main Street Kentucky theater, long ago. 🤔
Have a nice weekend, with wishes for you to locate many tasty morsels. 🤣 I think I will have one of my Belgian Chocolate ice cream bars.
I don't think I've only ever seen clips from the movie Mr P. I've heard Dick Van Dyke being interviewed about his notorious accent in the film a few times, and thought it quite funny :D Poor guy! 🤣

Thank you my friend, those Belgian chocolate ice cream bars sound delicious :) I hope you have a great 4th of July :)

It’s nice out on the back deck with my cup of black coffee. Watching the wrens come and go from their nest inside the old birdfeeder. I think this must be their third brood of the season. Grandpa made this birdfeeder, but I gave up on it years ago since it’s not squirrel proof. But I leave it on it’s 4x4 post because wrens nest in it every year. Very cheerful and busy little birds.View attachment 1860815Darn. She was peeking around from the other side with her long beak, but moving my hand to zoom in spooked her away just before I snapped the photo.

We call that black raspberries here. You call it cane?

This Swede wouldn’t have guessed that he would get to be so into traditional American patterns but here we are. It’s really addictive. European pocket knives seem to be all drop points and cork screws and even *shiver* cellidor scales, and I like clip points and bone or stag. Happy 4th of July guys 🇺🇸

Beautiful #66 and an adorable pup. 🤠
Thanks, John. The dog came to us just under a year ago, he was a pretty excitable young fellow then but is turning out to be a very good one.
The knife came to me less than a year ago as well but I knew it was a good one from the moment I acquired it. :)

Ok, John’s already complimented your knife and dog, so I’ll make note of the really nice job you did on fitting the stones on your retaining wall.
Thank ya, Jeff. I remember it was brutally hot, humid and sunny when I constructed that planter in July of last year, damn near gave me a heart attack.😓 The wife did a great job with the planting and its mostly in full bloom right now. Hummingbirds, bees and butterflies are loving it. We spend a lot of time in the backyard watching the show.
