I usually erase all the pictures of a knife once I've given it away. That's a shame, Skol was at his best when new I think. I would have done the same though I think
Beautiful pair of Case knives, GT.
You figured right, my friend! And I realized that my Craftsman version of the 250OT needs some action, so I think I will let the Opi off the hook, and slip this in my pocket instead.Technically not totin but on the desk beside me. JeffAmir Fleschwund I figured you would like this one, since you like the 25OT and Schrade knives. It needs a little TLC and an edge touch up but still has plenty of snap when opening and closing.View attachment 1868761
A NICE old Barlow at that John, full of character
Nice one, John.
I had a revelation on my recent trip from Illinois to Colorado in my Crosstrek. It has a gas mileage program that’s dead on accurate ~ I can see what I’m getting in the moment, or average.Gonna be a hot one today. On the way home from town yesterday, I turned on the truck's air conditioning for the first time this year. Promptly went from 15 miles per gallon to 14 miles per gallon. Decided on another Bull Nose for today. All I'm gonna do today is put the soaker hose on the tree we had trimmed back to give it plenty of water to help it recover from shock. Yep, that's right. The guy that trimmed the tree said, trimming back a tree drastically will put the tree in shock and water is the best thing to help it recover.

Couple of primo keepers, Rob.For Tuesday, a couple of old knives I recently acquired and spent time cleaning up and then forcing a patina back on them. An old Camillus 4 line bare-head Jack in Cocobolo and a Schrade Walden 186 Pruning knife. The Schrade had a broken tip (about a quarter inch) and I corrected that a bit, among other things.

I never want to look back at pictures and realize how dumb I was for getting rid of a good knife.![]()
They look good together
Nice choice John, it's a beauty
