Have a nice day

Talked about this one yesterday, so of course I had to carry it today. 😊View attachment 1869493
It’s a real beaut, Clark, er, Todd!
I don’t like etches much, but there’s something about the English Whittler etch that just makes me smile. I dig it. And, I actually really like the “Genuine Barlow” etch on the sepia. But I can’t help but dirty up all the barlows that I have.

Have a great day!

Great pair, Jon, particularly that Barlow.

Thanks Jeremy! Just had a thought, does the SB in your user name stand for sepia Barlow??? I’m kinda thinking it does!
Didn’t start that way, but I could start telling everyone it is from here on out.

At the pediatric surgery center for my daughter’s ear tube removal. I went with my “Georgia” peach bone swayback and Lucy today
Those both look great, Jon. 🙏🏻 for a successful surgery.

Interesting practice, John. I’m nearly incapable of getting rid of any pictures, to which the overloaded camera roll on my phone can attest. Need a picture of a sausage roll I ate 12 years ago? I got you covered. 😉

🤣🤣

I don’t think that’s a crappie. 😉

I’m currently stuck waiting at the DMV so I can renew my driver’s license. I will say, one positive thing to come out of the last couple years is that the DMV was forced to implement a waiting process that doesn’t require you to sit in the same depressing room with dozens of other miserable people. Now they text you when it’s your turn, so on a nice day like today, you can sit outside at a picnic table in the shade. I’ve certainly had worse experiences at the DMV. 😁

I emptied my pockets last night with the intent of grabbing something for wooden Wednesday, then ended up leaving the house this morning without a knife. Thankfully I had this Victorinox, which I won in a GAW from Jack Black Jack Black a few years back, in my truck, so I didn’t have to go knifeless.

That is one cool SAK

Peas are cranking it out now.View attachment 1869403
Chopped and replanted a bunch of greens. Some had bolted because of the heat that came early this year. Before I chopped them up, I picked out enough kale to fill the pressure cooker. Put in a bunch of boneless chicken thighs, a couple of bulbs of fresh picked garlic, and oh boy!

If you all don’t have an Insta Pot, you should. It’s not like dragging out the big pressure cooker I use for canning, it’s small, and really fast. Just plug it in, press a couple of buttons, and walk away. Best thing is that meat cooked in there stays juicy. A slow cooker seems to suck all the juice out, but not this little pressure cooker.
Tonight, I think I’ll try it with collards and chard and pork chops.
As for knives, I have these~ my Case Trapper with the unusual serrated spey blade, and a Camp Knife with a HIGH CARBON tang stamp, and Craftsman blade etch, which some dufus partially sanded off.View attachment 1869401View attachment 1869402
