Nice Ed, I almost grabbed that one but went with the Club instead.

Teleworked yesterday, but am back in the office today. Yesterday’s Dilbert is too funny not to share, along with my usual Barlow.

I haven’t stopped laughing yet! Our assistant principal used to teach SS with me. When he moved into administration we gave him a bag of plain M&Ms and a Mounds candy bar!

I don’t like etches much, but there’s something about the English Whittler etch that just makes me smile. I dig it. And, I actually really like the “Genuine Barlow” etch on the sepia. But I can’t help but dirty up all the barlows that I have.

Was suppose to have an Echocardiogram today but rescheduled it for next month because that new variant of Covid is running pretty strong at our hospital because of all the get togethers over the July 4th gatherings. Anyway, I'll just lay low and stay home today until we make our usual trip to town tomorrow. This knife ought to take care of anything that comes up.

Once I give a knife away, I delete all the pictures I have.

Interesting practice, John. I’m nearly incapable of getting rid of any pictures, to which the overloaded camera roll on my phone can attest. Need a picture of a sausage roll I ate 12 years ago? I got you covered.

I never want to look back at pictures and realize how dumb I was for getting rid of a good knife.

I’m currently stuck waiting at the DMV so I can renew my driver’s license. I will say, one positive thing to come out of the last couple years is that the DMV was forced to implement a waiting process that doesn’t require you to sit in the same depressing room with dozens of other miserable people. Now they text you when it’s your turn, so on a nice day like today, you can sit outside at a picnic table in the shade. I’ve certainly had worse experiences at the DMV.

I emptied my pockets last night with the intent of grabbing something for wooden Wednesday, then ended up leaving the house this morning without a knife. Thankfully I had this Victorinox, which I won in a GAW from Jack Black a few years back, in my truck, so I didn’t have to go knifeless.
