What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Went to the lake today; brought back two quart bags of fillets. Had this Victorinox in my pocket and put the LL Bean to work filleting.

Wonderful Case Barlow, GT. 🤠:thumbsup:
Glad to see that copperhead again Gary. That Case Barlow is fantastic. 😎👍
Jack, John, and Todd, I appreciate the regular encouragement you give me and so many other Porch denizens! :):thumbsup::thumbsup:

Taylor, what's going on in this shot?? I'm getting disoriented with the trees leaning in 2 different directions, and is there a pocket knife just lying open on the ground near the water?? o_O:thumbsup::cool:

5K Qs 5K Qs ~ I got a chuckle at : “an endcap display next to the cheese case”.

About that Hobo Knife, it’s a HOBO KNIFE!
If they made it ao you could take it apart, a hobo would lose the implements.
You’re supposed to wipe them clean on your pants and shirttails.
Was the chuckle about store managers using "endcap" differently than knife knuts would, or about the fact that in big "general stores" weird combinations of goods are in close proximity on the borders between separate areas (sporting goods and the dairy aisle at the boundary of the grocery section in my case)? 🤓
With the hobo knife, I don't want to disassemble the knife for cleaning; I'm fine with wiping if off on my pants. But if I've been lucky enough to have picked up a road kill possum to roast on a spit over a fire, I'd like to be able to use fork and knife simultaneously to cut a chunk of meat into mouth-sized pieces, and my non-take-apartable hobo knife would frustrate the heck out of me! :eek::mad:

Prestigious pair, Steve! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Congrats on that cheerful Case slimline trapper; wonderful knife IMHO! :cool::cool::thumbsup:
Here's a photo of mine (thanks, Tom):

That probably would have been handy on your trip. The only one I have is this A.G. Russell. It doesn’t have a spoon, and was a bit on the pricey side (partly due to the dyed and stabilized oak scales), but it seems really well made. I picked it up at their store the last time I was back home in Arkansas.

Attractive handles on your AGR, Barrett! :thumbsup::cool::cool: Looks like yours and my Ka-Bar have almost identical design with regard to putting the individual pieces together.
