What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Went to the post office to mail the Case Pass Around box to @AdamFuzzyballs. A little foggy down in the bottom.

We've been on the dry side, but the corn in the bottom looks pretty good.

Took the Case small coke bottle that I got from the Pass Around with me. Its a little bigger than a peanut and little smaller than an 87 pattern jack. Goldilocks would approve 👱‍♀️ 🐻

Great pics Mike, I like the look of that pattern
Good Morning Porch Friends
Getting ready for a trip and leaving tomorrow.
Only taking my Usual Lamb, put a fresh edge on it and a drop of oil in the joint.

Safe travels buddy :)

Starting off Monday with some Mammoth Ivory. AG Russell Pinched Peanut and Eldon Talley City Knife. Going to be a rainy day they say. I think I'll try to spend some time on my knife collection database. Note: the Talley is NOT for sale.

Mustang Monday?
Primble Primble I'd like to second that your Camillus' are very fun too look at, thanks for showing us Rob!

Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund Jeff thank you so much for sharing your memories/stories of your family! I have one of Grandpa's slipjoints myself and although it's just an old Imperial it is *my* most precious knife, I imagine you feel much the same? I've been carrying mine occasionally, but I do like your notion of buying a second for carry, helps that they're only about 20$ New old stock. Also, looks like Pa sharpened it on the bottom of a coffee cup to a zero-point edge, which I find likely given his disposition on spending $, so it would be nice to have a more useable edge.

Is there a porch introduction thread somewhere that I haven't found yet? Seems like many in here are on a first-name basis. I will learn all your names eventually, not my strong suit though. My name is Frederick, but my friends usually call me just "F.C.", so please "Frederick" or "FC", I do not enjoy "Fred" or "Freddy" much. ephsea--->FC 👋

Heatwave in England and Europe,we have uninsulated houses without A/.C.

Predicted to be the highest temperature ever in the UK tomorrow.

I was outside Marks and Sparks food hall at 8am when it was still cool to buy sandwiches and cold cuts so no need for a hot oven.

Delicious and good quality,Coronation coleslaw, potato salad, salmon, crispy salad followed by outstanding trifle.

Gave it a while then had a cuppa char and a cold hot cross bun with tasty butter.

Living the dream 😆

click to the right to see all the pictures, still learning imgur.
