Hey, we really know how to have a good time here in Southern Illinois! 🤣

Thanks John. 😊

Thanks Jeremy. 😊

Great pictures. 😎👍

Great photo of a great-looking knife :)

Fantastic photos Jeremy, looks like you had quite a tour! :)

Thank you, Jeremy. :)

Probably my favoritest calendar page yet. 🤠
The vacation trip looks amazing, glad you had a good time.
Thanks gents, we had a great time. I was sad to have to come back home.

This just in, a single bladed Swiss Army Knife, cleverly named "Swiss Army 1" ;) it is the same length as my Pioneer X but slimmer, about 5/16" thick so it slips into your watch pocket quite easily and is a pleasure to use being slim but having the Alox scales that provide some texture.

and compared to my Pioneer X model, the scales are the exact same length;

I highly recommend this one a lot, very nice slim small folder.

Went with the F&F since it's so wet & rainy. Jax decided to photobomb the knives shot, and I started to take another one but I decided to just post it. What's frustrating is when I want to take a pic of him it's like pulling teeth, but if I'm trying to take a shot that I don't want him in, I can't keep him out of it. View attachment 1881381
Haha Jax reminds me a lot of Iris, they even lookalike kinda.

Forgot to post this last night 😃

Thanks, love to post my girls.

Glad someone took the bait. 😅
Now, I didn’t say anything about a little watch pocket, we’re talking about my watch pocket. Not just my 71, 73, 86s and 88s, but my 97, 36 and 23s can squeeze in there as well. Those last tend to get a little bulky, but the nice slim 65? Oh yeah. Sits horizontal across the bottom in these cargo shorts.

My heart weeps for those on the porch that have to settle for less in a watch pocket.
I have cargo shorts that don't even have a watch pocket at all

Hanging out down at the “Dam Bar” watching the lake rise. We’ve had quite a bit of rain overnight.

Watching water rise... Is that your version of watching paint dry? Your version sounds much better.
You guys put me in mind of one of my eeriest experiences. July, 1993 down at the Hitching Post with a couple of guys talking about the flood, drinking a beer and maybe shooting a game of pool, when a guy comes in and says, "the levee broke".

So we pile into the truck and drive down in the bottom to see. We get to within a quarter mile or so of the levee where we have to stop. At the far end of the headlights we can maybe see a ripple. We can hear the water loudly rushing through the breach. Its dark, and hot, and humid. Not a breath of air moving. Its almost surreal. Nobody says anything. Tom sets an empty beer can at the edge of the water. Before we can finish a cigarette, the can is floating. Tom looks at his watch and says, "xxx minutes". Given the size of the bottom, it's an astonishingly short time. It was at that point that we knew for sure that we were going to flood.

That's why I live up the hill now thumb.gif
