Part of the appeal of the Proper (for me, at least) is that it feels like a blend of traditional patterns - it's a little bit canoe, a little bit sodbuster, a little bit native, and so on. But it's not any of those things, either. It is its own thing. (Although the Fox Livri is so close, maybe the Proper can be considered a new pattern?)I'd never paid much attention to the Proper you often post, but it has quite a canoe-like profile. Hmm....
Have you seen the weekender? And are you going to pull the trigger on that one? I think it is very interesting.Part of the appeal of the Proper (for me, at least) is that it feels like a blend of traditional patterns - it's a little bit canoe, a little bit sodbuster, a little bit native, and so on. I have, and I want to like it, but it didn't quite inspire me. Maybe if I see one in person I'll get excited about it.Have you seen the weekender? And are you going to pull the trigger on that one? I think it is very interesting.
Right, I think there are some things to like about it and few others that make me pass.I have, and I want to like it, but it didn't quite inspire me. Maybe if I see one in person I'll get excited about it.
I carried a proper for months….sits in the bottom of a pocket and you almost forget it’s there. The 97 was my most carried knife last year (and earlier this year), the Proper has been my most carried knife in the last few months. Time for them to team up!

I’d love to see it, there have been some nice knives and guitar pics here before. Better players and photographers than me. I’m just slightly better than ‘ol Shred Durst here, jk.
If you don’t mind, I may copy your lead and start including some guitars in my shots as well … I’ve done it in the past but it’s been a while.![]()
Thank you.Superb Pallares! (I like that Explorer (?) SAK, too.)
