It’s looking good already Bart.I carried the Ettrick again today. It was really handy opening a bunch of packaging and boxes.

Thanks, it is new. This one is from a roger Maris gloveI love seeing those baseball glove slips. Looks like you got a new one.
That game still gets talked about in St. Louis. It led to the Ozzie smith trade, so I’m happy with the results. 1981 was weird because of the strike. The cardinals had the best record overall but didn’t win either half so they missed the playoffsI lived in STL (U city) for a year in 1982 and was at the game when Gary Templeton gave the one finger salute to the crowd on ladies day. Whitey Herzog was not happy! If my memory is right the Cards came down to the end of the season with the playoffs in reach. I had tickets in my hand and then my hopes were crushed. That’s baseball.![]()
The buoy tender I was on out of Iowa for a few years worked the Mississippi. We worked the buoys all the way up a little past Minneapolis, but I don’t remember going as far north as St. Cloud. This week I'm carrying knives I bought during a May "buying spree". Of course, for me, a knife order doesn't seem complete without some Rough Ryders.
