What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

quite possibley the perfect folding knife, imo. Where can I get one like this mate?

I'm very happy with it:)

The pattern is called a Lanny's clip, originally made by Tony Bose who kindly let other custom makers use the pattern. Mine is made by Keith Johnson, I believe there is a Case Bose collaboration Lanny's Clip too.

Here are a couple of threads to wet your appetite!

Keith is on Bladeforum's and makes custom knives to order. Mine came up on the exchange.

Happy hunting:)

A theme, indeed!

Gosh, this brings back memories. I had a Westclox Scotty when I was young, a white-faced one I saved up my allowance for. I lost the crown too soon in its life with me, and resorted to trying to grasp the post and wind it with... fingernail clippers. Watch post 1, fingernail clippers 0 (but I got it wound!).

Another great picture, Paul, complete with memories. Thanks!

PJake-- I'm disappointed that my Mad Scientist guess didn't pan out, but yours is still a beautifully composed picture.

Again? Sheesh... ;)

Oh, I see-- I forgot the Strix:

Thanks for the well wishes friends. Safely back in North Carolina, settled into my hotel room after an amazingly good dinner with my son and his girlfriend. The snow was gone shortly after I crossed the Ohio River into Kentucky, and I was out of the rain before Knoxville, Tennessee.

Only knife use today was scraping some pine sap off my windshield with my red Victorinox Classic so the windshield wiper did not spread the sticky mess across my line of sight.

Snowy Monday here in Central KY. Spring Break is over and I'm back at the office.

The slicey-est knife I've ever had is in my pocket--Ken Erickson EDC:
