What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I don't know how some of you do it. As fond as I am of my Northfield Scout, I like knives too much to limit myself to just one. So I stopped fighting it and dropped this HJ in my pocket this morning.

Thanks Paul. Interesting that you pointed that out, I remember that it was the covers specifically that drew me in.

Thanks. Pete. Whats on the menu for today? Maybe a little stuffed zucchini gamberetti...mmmmmm

Great knife, Christian! How could you keep that on in the safe.

Not in the safe. Never in the safe. Just lying in the cigar box with the others, passed over again and again in favor of the Scout.

It was a rosewood day for me. I am carrying the rosewood S&M Heritage jack today.

then the JBF Champlin came in the mail. The S&M will be with me the rest of the day.

Great knife and yes I know exactly what you mean.

Today it is this one

I am really liking this knife, but I a missing the added utility of the masterful pen blade on my 76 outlaw.

Thanks for the comments folks. I like all of those knives a lot. The S&M came pretty dull but sharpened up nicely. The Champlins are very good out of the box. I like them better than I thought I would, but I was sure enough that I'd like them that I ordered an ivory bone TC version for EDC. I probably will carry the rosewood one very sparingly. I think I would carry the stag more, but it is so knice that I may have to just put them both away and carry the 92 TC.

I'll drop some more photos in when I get a chance to take them.

Kevin that Scagel fruitport is just really special. That knife has wonderful proportions; it just looks RIGHT.

this arrived in the mail today, so I've been totin' it around this afternoon. BHK Outdoors St. Patrick's Day series in hunter green bone and D2 steel. Manufactured by Queen. Nice fit and finish, with good walk and talk. A few minutes on the strop and I've got little bald spots on my arm. I like it!
