J.A. Henckels Solingen Germany 1731 Stockman
One of the 250th anniversary knives from 1981
Cleaned up and ready for Tuesday but not sharpened yet
I'll give it a touch up later maybe. Not sure what the wood is ...

Thanks a lot, Jack!!! The blade variety has been handy today! :)👍

Your Lambsfoot is always an outstanding choice for a one blade day; sorry to hear the sciatica reared its ugly head again, hope you're better soon!:(👍👍

That cover art reminds me of freshman orientation!
"Always carry a knife" really was a rule.

I'm almost as wistful for a life of adventure as I am happy to have been spared a life of adventure.
LOL! It was certainly a hard life in the British Navy - most were kidnapped, sometimes as children, ill-fed, barely paid, and badly used, with no shore leave for years at a time, with a very high mortality rate, and when the war against Napoleon was over, they were dumped back on land to starve,.and die in filth and penury. Huzzah! 🤔
I haven't toted my Case Bose W/T for a while, so in the pocket it goes for Tuesday. 😊

A very handsome knife Mr P 👍
I was going to post a rigging knife, but some mysterious mental current brought me from the Battle of Trafalgar to the textile mills of Utica.

I'm sure an Old Salt would have carried that with pride Jer 🙂👍

Haven’t seen that one in awhile, very nice.
Thank you, my friend. :)
I cannot tell because of the tint, is this a red or tan micarta?
It is a Natural Micarta (brown).
What a pair. 😍
Reminds me, I need to go see if any of the Brookies are back in stock.
Graet pictures, Todd... So happy you're having a great time. 🤠:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Hoping today is the day your back starts getting better. 🤠

Hefty pair. I could never collect them all, much less use them all, but that larger Schrade has always intrigued me.

Peeling my fruit while listening to 6 blade knife, who doesnt love picky blues?

I love the guitar on that song.

Have a nice day :)

Fantastic patina on your BF Barlow, Yann!

I have my rosewood Case Trapper and Wenger Backpacker II. 464E497C-B58B-4967-998E-6A27C33E21D6.jpeg
Quite often, the Case refuses to be put back in the cigar box, and I end up totin it for a couple more days. I have lots of knives that I can happily carry day after day, which could lead the non-afflicted to ask why do you have all those other knives, then?
To paraphrase a certain guitarist, “ARE YOU AFFLICTED?”
