Oh, that's a Beauty!
A Lambsfoot and a Barlow, two of my favorites to combine together... very nice!
Thats a good one there. Looks great.
That is the best Albers I’ve ever scene, just saying
Awesome carvings. There’s a lot of blades in that picture.
Welcome back! Hopefully easing back to normal isn’t too difficultGreat to be home! Looks like some of you are now vacationing…hope you have a great time.

Great pictures John!Good Morning Porch Friends
I've been AWOL for the past few days, devoting almost every waking hour to working and watching the Drum Corps International finals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. I'm back now but there's absolutely no way for me to catch up again, so I'm just starting fresh, right here, right now. Good to be back.

Thank you, Jon.Great pictures John!
I can definitely relate with my constant ice pack rotation and orthopedic surgeon supplied topicals.Yeah, not a lot of fun I'm afraid![]()
Thanks most kindly, Jack!!!A wonderful pair JJ![]()
I got one so cheap, it has to be a repro.I got this today,it was quite expensive but I like it.
Thanks. I almost always carry at least one camp/scout knife, and that rosewood Böker has been "stealing" more than its share of pocket time. We roasted a couple of packages of hot dogs yesterday at the "resort" fire pit, and the Böker shaved some kindling curls for our fire and "slimmed down" the store-bought wiener sticks that we had to use.Really like that Boker — nice to see a camp knife that includes a punch and bail In the mix.![]()

I imagine you have no problems with vampires either, Jeff....
The small ones get cleaned up, separated, and go straight into a bin in the kitchen. View attachment 1897384
Good for low blood pressure...
Preeminent pair, Jack!Have a good day everyone. Hot and sunny here, but I'm stuck on my backside fondling my Bagpipe Ebony Big 'Un and an Old Friend I have been meaning to carry for a while

Stellar stockman!
Cool pic, Mike! Glad the water heater meltdown was not too damaging.Friday!! Have a great weekend everyone. Sitting at home waiting for the plumber to come replace our water heater that decided it was time to give up while we were out of town last weekend… thankfully it’s a tankless system and we shut off the water when we travel. Not too big of a mess.

Cool SBS and SBJr pairing!Feels like a Case day today. Sowbelly and a sodbuster jr. SAK pioneer tonight to help me pop some adult beverages. 15th annual family fantasy football league draft later and maybe off to the racetrack to bet on some horses.

That Case Blackhorn is a nice little knife, and I love the steel-driving man on the "shield" of that Imperial!Black Friday Lite

Magnificent mod!
What a contrast from the difference in lighting!I took the normal, daily carry pic and then it hit me. The pile side doesn't ever get any love, so today I took a pic of both. And both sides are the same tone/color, but the sun came out for the pile side. Lol. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Dandy duo, Steve!
Your Opinel testimonial is eerily similar to what runs through my mind every time I use one of my Opinels. "If I want to cut stuff, why do I ever reach for anything other than this one??"The Opinel is for French Friday (I got one of the days on this thread right for once!) and the Proper is per usual.
Having any pocket knife other than the Opinel makes it clear that you are into knives for their own sake, and not just for functionality. If I only cared about functionality, the Opinel No 08 will do everything I want an EDC pocket knife to do, do it extremely well, and do it while costing less than $20. I'm always impressed by just how good these things are.
Hope you're all having a great Friday, and have an even better weekend.

Thanks, GT! I agree. That tortoise shell was one of my first GECs, and it’s still one of my favorites.

Thanks, Thom.Elegant alliteration as always, Gary!
That model always looks good to me, and I think, "That's a GEC I should try to track down!"It’s been a while since I’ve carried my Hayn’ Helper.
