• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Richstag,

They are really very beautiful!!
You have more images of that with the patina blade? Not the scagel like.

Thanks

Thanks! I have 100's of that knife but I would need to dig so far back

Here is one I found

Thanks guys, and very nice one Christian, I always enjoy seeing it.

I have said it for a while the 73 is GEC's best overall pattern IMHO. The drop point blade is ground perfectly for its size and is my favorite type profile for a one bladed knife :)

Great knife, all you'd ever need really.

Here's its twin.

I agree on the shape of their drop point. It has a much more gradual belly than their regular clip, and a lower, less "peaked" top line as well, making it more pocket friendly.

Is there already a stag only single blade 73 thread? If so, I want to pack up my things and move in there.

Good stag on that one Jeff.

I favour the linerlock a lot, it's safe as they have a tough slipjoint backspring already. Got a stag one of these and a bone they called stagbone, GEC's only faux stag I believe.

Thanks, Will

Will, they called it burnt carved stag bone, and it had the natural to burnt color, very realistic looking, 2008 I believe.
They have also done several colored stag bones: I have brimstone, pumpkin, green and blue, but these do not imitate real stag like yours does.

I took my wife to Shreveport today for a bone marrow biopsy; we all know what the doctors are looking for with that. Please remember her in your prayers. I decided that I would carry my Olive bone Texas jack today. It's one of the nicest Case knives I own.
