What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I took my wife to Shreveport today for a bone marrow biopsy; we all know what the doctors are looking for with that. Please remember her in your prayers. I decided that I would carry my Olive bone Texas jack today. It's one of the nicest Case knives I own.

I will. Great variation of the texas jack. Love the bone and the grooved bolsters.

Good luck to you both, sir.

Beautiful knife Ed, you can be sure the rest of your post will get my family's full attention tonight.
Best,

My best wishes to your wife and yourself Ed...

Today I have something groovy in my pocket as well :)

Best wishes and warm regards to you and your family, Ed. Strength, courage, wisdom and good fortune...

Slipped this fella in my pocket when I got home from work: my first 'Triple P' GEC... a stout little pocket bulldog in frontier bone known as the #56 Dogleg Jack. Very robust and feels sooo good in hand! :) Just kinda wish the bone was sawcut though... :o

Ed, I love the green covers and the rat-tail bolsters on that TJ-- as nice a one as I've seen.

Praying to the Lord above that your wife sails through. Keep the faith!

So that is what they are actually called!

I swapped back over to my jack to join the club with Ed :)

Wishing for the very best!! Going through a similar thing here in Monterey. Just a beautiful knife though. May try to pick one up myself.

Best,
Peter

Thanks to you all for your moral and prayer support. It is a relief just to get past the actual issue of the biopsy itself. Waiting to find out the results may be hard on the nerves but we will find out on April 5th.

On another positive note, the knives in this thread have been inspirational to say the least. I truly enjoy the fellowship of the group here. I should have made the post in a different thread. Peter, we will keep your and yours in our prayers as well.

I really like the Texas jack pattern and I have 3 iterations now including an amber bone, this one, and a stag rancher version. All beautiful knives and great EDCs.

One of these days, I will obtain a 6232 or 5232 because they would be the father of the 62032 and 52032 models I own now.

Again thank you all, and may you be blessed in your own lives.

Ed J

Ed, Smoke and prayer will be wending towards you and your wife from San Diego. Likewise some heading North, Peter.

Thanks! Ed J and I are looking to the good side of things.....tomorrow, we're going solo with this one...the knife I feel most connected with ...warmth, feel in hand, and aesthetics... I just really enjoy this knife.....now if I had a Texas Jack like Ed J has...... I'm just saying.....
