Spoken like a true collector! 😁😁😁
Can’t get to it right now for a new photo, but here’s a couple glamour shots from the archive …View attachment 1907943

😎

Holy moly…especially that pile side…sheesh! Beautiful!

Good stag is the only thing I’ll back off of my “everything is a user” policy for. I have two beautiful stag knives that will never get the patina treatment. That elk is gorgeous. Thanks for showing it off!

Thank you, Todd. :)

You have way more self-control than I do... I'd have probably walked out of there with one of each. ;)

Hope you both had a great time. 🤠

Thank you, GT. :)

It's always a good time when the Jeep is involved. 😁

Nice choice, I'll be carrying mine today. 🤠

Super handy-dandy pairing, Bart. 🤠

Nice catch! Hope you and your kid had a great time fishing. 🤠

Hard to keep up with all your posts, no wonder this thread moves so fast. ;)

Looks like a very fun time. 🤠

Great picture, Johnny. 🤠

Magazine quality picture. 🤠

Gorgeous knife, love the bone color. 🤠

That coin/token is really cool, Taylor. 🤠

Nice to see the HHB back on duty. Hope you're having a great day, my friend. 🤠
Thanks John I will post a pic of the other side next time I carry it!

JohnDF JohnDF and afishhunter afishhunter , while I agree about Iowa, once I got back on a two lane road in Nebraska I thoroughly enjoyed the scenery. I made it to Valentine and got the one and only hotel room I’ll stay in on this 17 day trip. Here’s a viewpoint outside of town over the Niobrara river.

Now you are on the route that we always used to take to go west . Once had an $8.00 16 ounce T-Bone in Valantine , Nebraska . Safe travels for you and your's Jim .

Nice Schrade. Such a nice pattern!
Those looks so good together Jeff. 😎👍
Thank you very much, Todd!
This ones been getting worked some over the last several days. I'm really loving it but debating if I should delete the pen blade. I've seen some people do that to this pattern but I'm not sure where I'd go to get that done.

I’ve deleted the utility blade on few TL-29s, but I will not do it again. I’ve come to appreciate that secondary blade so much that I now feel guilty about deleting them.

So that’s my vote, but it is your knife, so you should do what you think best for your likes and needs.
I do get that some folks really like a slim knife.

Thanks, John!
The overall look of the stag and especially the ‘interest’ of pile side (and its rarity) were big reasons this knife survived ‘the great purge’ … and I agree, I also have a few that I have purposefully kept unused.
But it being stainless, and such a great pattern, are starting to sorely tempt me …

Good Morning Porch Friends
Today I'll be carrying a Lambsfoot (as usual), something for Micarta Monday, and something for Metal Monday...

Each one of those is a great knife, John 👍
Looks great Bart! The stickers are a nice touch, bet it won’t be long before that whole side is covered with them. 😉👍
Thanks, Todd. We do have a bunch more stickers to put on.
Really been enjoying this carry pair all weekend. The Cowbell is my new favorite belt knife!

Thanks for sharing these JJ, really a treat to see! I'm going to have to learn more about Robeson.

Hi Bart, nice ramp! It's an 85-ish teardrop jack from Tracy LaRock. Unbeatable ergos and a surprisingly beefy blade, pulls curls of fatwood better than any other folder I've used and took/is holding a positively dangerous edge ☺️. Action is rough/sticky but I've magic lubed it into serviceability.

I really like that one. The whole package looks great.
Had this one with me at work today. View attachment 1907933Now that I’m home I’m switching to these beauties for Micarta Monday. 😎👍View attachment 1907935
Another set of three awesome knives👍

Your big wood lambsfoot and little stag Albers make a good pair, Jack!

Terrific trio John
Gonna straighten up the pole barn/carport today. It seems to be a place to accumulate "stuff" - you know, things you just put there until you can put it away at a later time. Next thing you know you've got a lotta "stuff" to put in their rightful place. A single blade Sowbelly ought to be all that's necessary. That's what I'll start with anyway. Sausage and biscuits for breakfast.

Sounds like my whole garage Ed. 😊 Beautiful sowbelly. 😎👍
