It’s been too long since I carried my Navy knife, and today I found out a cousin of mine was selected for advancement to Chief Petty Officer in the Navy.

I had my eureka jack with me this morning. I was shipping cattle off a 900-acre lease we lost as they are breaking ground to build more houses. It’s a bummer but we knew it was coming.

Great knife, not so great news.

I think it was Joni Mitchel who sang, "They cut down paradise and put up a parking lot" - same applies to housing developments.
