What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Love this acrylic Ed! I see that SAK too. That’s my favorite shade of green for a SAK.
Thanks, Jon!
That Seaglass Acrylic 66 is what I call a “reclaimer’s lament” … I had one from the original release, sold it, regretted it, found another one many moons later, overpaid for it … lather rinse repeat.
🤦🏻‍♂️

No way Aunt Bee would clean fish. :D
I mis-spelled Aunt Bea! Gotta nip that in the bud.
I have been absent for a month, seems like ages. Started my new job, been on two trips with the family, and just a lot of hectic life stuff! I’m gonna be better though. Carrying some new giraffe today! I hope everyone on the porch has a nice Friday!

Don’t give up. Blutarsky has some inspiration for you when things get tough…

315 315 Jim, although it hasn't been worn for many MANY decades, it appears well worn.
3rd parties I've shown it to, who know a thing or two about this and that have deemed it "trench art"
My mother passed away peacefully in her 80's, back in 2018 and the ring was found buried in her jewelry box
Since children, mama never allowed us to go into her jewelry box. We had NO idea that ring was there and it's a mystery
Mama never revealed that ring nor spoke of it whatsoever. Some secrets she took with her I guess
There's a ton of history and stories to go with that ring I'm sure ... none of which I'll ever know

EDIT: 315 315 Jim, there are no hallmarks nor engravings on the inside of the ring

Ohhh. That’s what it’s called?? Good to know. I had a round of that with the Sepia TC. I was convinced on the first go round that I wasn’t a spear blade guy. I gave it to a buddy of mine who had really admired it thinking I wouldn’t miss it. Out of any knife I’ve ever gifted or sold it gnawed at me. I ended up dropping $50 more than I originally paid to score one back, but it was worth it.

I totally get being hooked by the 66 frame. My calf roper is a favorite.

Have this #54 Whittler from ‘08 with me today; it is my first GEC. I carried it regular for about a year to a year and a half, but now I only carry it maybe once a month. Still makes me happy though.🙂

That is a classic beauty right there!
You don’t seem to see too many 54 Whittlers, I had one wunst; not your sister’s Whittler - that is a handful of knife!
