All the tools open easily. It’s very snappy. It’s a well built knife and I am glad to have picked one up. The covers of vulcanized fiber are interesting.Fantastic, the new replica! How is the walk and talk on it?

I'm not sure how I'd know, but nothing stands out compared to pictures I see of genuine ones. And it's cheap even if genuine so I'm not sure the finish issues I mentioned are very informative. I'd have to buy another to compare I guessToo bad remove the spring and tighten the pivot, converting it to a friction folder isn't an option.
Is it a genuine Okapi or a fake? I heard they were having major problems competing with all the fakes.
Great pics and nice knives, Dan.

Brilliant!
Another superb vintage knife, really like the double Rat-Tails, very similar to the Gouttière pattern from France that has this distinctive 'rainwater gutter' bolster.Quaker City Cutlery co 1886-1935 manufactured by H. Disston Saw Works for Smith & Seltzer Hardware both in Philadelphia.
