How much Pocket wear are you getting on your 77 barlow Jiki Jiki ??? Your blade is showing good use , but the covers still look new . Great photo of some pretty nice carry my friend .

I think the patina you see might be the reflection of my big head. I have the amber saw cut 77 from the earlier run, this one, and the stag. I probably carry one of the 3 6-7 times a month, I think it's just a classic knife.

Carrying a DFC made Queen 4L lockback and an older Robeson sleeveboard pen knife today.
I acquired the Queen because I really liked the looks of it. Bloodwood, bomb shield, threaded bolsters and blade shape all appealed to me,
the small amount of blade rock in open position bothers me a bit though. I got another in ebony at the same time and it has a large amount of
blade rock and wobble, seldom carry it.
The Robeson, although it has seen a bunch of use and blade loss by previous owner(s) appeals to me for its sleeveboard shape and sweet
looking jig bone. No bad blade action or wobble in this one.
I'd love to get one of the new GEC 59 sleeveboard pattern in the upcoming ironwood release but the lolly scramble is impossible for me to navigate in a timely fashion via internet. :(:)

Thank you, Todd. :)

Looks like a piece of hard candy. 🤠
Thanks John. 😎👍
Now that’s a classy looking carry James.
😎👍
You too Todd, excellent pic my friend :)
Thanks Jack. 😎👍
Great looking knife. 😎👍
Nice selection, Todd. Looks like we are in the same wavelength for Trapper Tuesday 😎👍
We sure are, they are special knives for sure Greg. 😎👍

Don't forget to check the keys for Ebony and Ivory Jeff! Would make some nice inlay on your guitar... With the crazy price of hardwood these days maybe I finally look less insane for hoarding salvage lumber in my basement for decades.

No, you’re not insane. Well, as far as I know…😉
I love salvaged wood, and don’t seem to be able not hoard. Want to make it worse? Have a friend with a sawmill.

Catteraugas made them as well, I have two of them.

I’ll bet they are gems. I’ve got one in cocobolo, and it’s so well made.
If you feel like totin’ and photgraphing one or both of them, that would very kind of you.
The knife factory in Little Valley put out great bone.

Set aside for tomorrow. Boker BFF, and a Wharncliffe Trapper from Joel Chamblin. Looking forward to lunch at one of our favorite Italian Restaurants, and not looking forward to a Doctor's appointment. Oh well, you win some, you lose some. Some get rained out.

This will be my carry for the next few days. My family has evacuated ahead of the hurricane and I’ll be staying back for work and with our dogs. Hopefully @mcc850 and @black mamba along with any others potentially impacted stay safe and are prepared for the storm and after.
Stay safe, Jon.
Hope everyone has a great day. 👍View attachment 1942570

Welcome Bart! Interesting people are interested in fun things - like skating, and Eureka Jacks!

This is turning out a great carry pair for around the house today. I love tiny knives!
I like small fixed blades, too. Who makes that one?
First day on my belt. The Boker Brook is a looker for sure! Came nice and shiny and sharp! VG-10 is a decent steel. I really like the jimping on the spine. I think all small fixed blades should be made with it. Paired with my EJ it should be all I'd need.
Not real crazy about the sheath, although the retention is good, the belt attachment is not acceptable to me. I replaced it with a small Tek-Lok. It was an easy swap. Much better now.

I really like that pair, Gary 😉
I wasn’t crazy about the clip either and swapped mine out with one I like much better.

Hope you are on the mend soon, Jack 👍
Thanks a lot Greg :)
Hope you get well soon, Jack!!! At least you have your mighty HHB as a companion!:cool:👍👍
Thanks JJ, I wouldn't want to be without my trusty Barlow! :D
I grabbed these two GECs for today. :)
A beautiful combination my friend, two outstanding knives :)
