Car versus most creatures generally doesn't end well. Thankful there were not injuries, but cows have a lower center of gravity than moose or elk. Those incidents generally turn out even worse. When I drive at night my son always asks me why I'm not focused on the road...my response "I'm watching the side of the road for animals" for just that reason.Another "Automobile versus Cow" call came over the scanner last night. No serious injuries this time but evidently the car was totaled. With the increased movement of cattle this time of year, it pays to be extra careful. Just last week there was a cattle drive down the road in front of our place. Anyway, it's off to town with the usual stops. Got a package to get off to one of our Blade Forums members and have a hankering for chicken fried steak at the Wagon Wheel Cafe. This Scout Trapper will make a good carry today.

The old upright piano has to go. It came free via my sister-in-law who somehow picked off a curb for free. Moved it from our old house to this one 35 some years ago. It took me and my sons and brother’s in law to get it in here, and now, alone, it’s near impossible to get it outside.
I’m attempting to dismantle it in the living room. Very interesting and intricate construction. Although there’s a lot of mahogant veneer, I’m saving any solid wood. Thinking I could cut a guitar body out of it.View attachment 1942641View attachment 1942642

Thank you very much Jeff, I'm glad you didn't have it worse than that buddySorry to hear that, JB!
When I had it last January, it was no worse than a nasty flu. I hope you fare as well.
I remember going to bed at 7:30 every night for a couple if weeks afterward, though, so rest and sleep as much as you can.
Man that chest or cabinet or whatever ya call it is AMAZING!!! It's perfect for a knife collection. With that much space and that many drawers, I could get some more knives and not even feel guiltyWent to Lake Geneva for coffee this morning with the Bulldog Canoe and Silver Stag in my pockets
