What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Ed, we don’t have an Indian reservation, but if people want to sit in a line to save a nickle, they could join Sams or Costco.

I paid $3.89 at the Shell in town yesterday. That’s a bit too far for you to drive, though.

I misunderstood, or you did. He asked who made them in jigged bone.
But that’s sure a nice example! It looks hardly used, and has to be pretty old…

I will photograph mine in a few minutes. Coffee making comes first.View attachment 1943346
PAL Blade Co.

Nice combo.
You might be surprised, the cheapest petrol(gas) here in Newcastle Australia is Costco.

Great pic of your Boker Barlow Todd 😎👍
Thanks Jack. 😊
Ok, Todd. All walnut is wood, but not all wood is walnut, so walnut should be the adjective, and wood, the noun. 😎
You are absolutely correct Jeff. 😄
“Walnut Wood Wednesday” 🤣👍
I share your concern for our members in Fla. I was messaging with Jon0385 Jon0385 , but he went silent…
He’s on a barrier island right in the path, so I hope his Coast Guard skills serve him well!
Me too.

I'm still working on getting a new weekly rotation schedule set up. If I could just spend a couple of 8-10 hour days on it, I could easily finish, but "life" keeps interrupting my schedule creation. Anyway, one of the categories that will appear each week in my new schedule is one I'm calling "Imperial/Colonial/Old Timer" so that I carry a knife to represent one of those famous old U.S. knife companies each week. (Many of my knives bearing those brands are more recent Chinese versions instead of the vintage American knives.) This week, I'm carrying what I currently think of as my top ten examples from this category.
This Imperial clip/pen toothpick is just like one my Grandpa T. carried when I was a kid (thanks, Dave):

This Schrade 33OT Middleman Jack is one of the few American Old Timers I have (a gift from a former colleague who was a geologist at the college where I worked):

I’m sorry about that. I am doing well because the brunt of the storm hit a couple hours south of me. I did lose power but am up on generator power now. My dogs have required a lot of attention all day.
I do appreciate yours and others thoughts. Let’s hope others made out as well as I have so far.
