I think most of the following quotes are from about a week ago. So sue me; I've been busy!

I also really like the "setting", and I'll bet "knife on a knot" shots will be trending on BF very soon!

Thanks for continuing to post photos from your trip. They often spark good memories of my daughter and I traveling around Spain almost 8 years ago. Did you happen to make it to Denia on the coast in the map you posted? My daughter spent a semester in Denia as part of a college program, and she took me there several years later. I was amazed that we would go out in the evening to participate in the evening paseo, walking along the main streets of Denia, and my daughter would almost always run into people who remembered her from her previous time there.
That slice of tortilla looks delectable - my favorite food while I visited Spain. Hot, cold, in a sandwich, always tasty!
I bought my daughter an Arcos kitchen knife at a cuchilleria in Valencia.
That young woman looks like she would be a pleasant traveling companion (unless she insisted that you wear clothing that matched hers
).

I hope you're recovering quickly from the bout with COVID you fought recently!

W! That's a vibrant vintage knife!

The Chinese Imperial Sodbuster Jr. is one of my least expensive knives, but it's at least as good as any other small sodbuster I have.
Your black/red combo is superb!

Your jigged wood toothpick is phenomenal, Tim!

I didn’t expect to run around an orchard with an Italian Chica,be given special access to motorbikes not on display at a museum and exotic cars, nor to handle WW2 weapons.
Like the MG34,Thompson smg,Stick grenades,flame flowers etc.

When my daughter and I tried to take a cab from the Valencia bus station to our hotel, the driver told us he could only get us within about 3 blocks of the hotel because he wouldn't be able to get through the crowd forming for a King's Day Eve parade (must have been January 5). After we left the cab, we had to drag our bags with us through the street packed with revelers!Mad very scary ride into Valencia last night, more scary than driving into Sarajevo under fire.
There was one loon standing in the middle of a massive intersection juggling as cars went past at speed,I was told it’s nothing unusual.
I had my 77 in my pocket.

Thank you, Gary! I am impressed by Bruckmann knives.
Thanks for the extra info on that Old Hickory folder, Mike; intriguing!
Thanks Gary
That Old Hickory was just released by Ontario. The first kitchen knife that I ever felt any affinity for was an Old Hickory, so it was a given that I'd have try out the folder. Its like OH's kitchen knives. Cheap, a little crude, stout, made in the U.S.
Here it is with a Sodbuster Jr.

My original Old Hickory. It was in a house I was renting with three other guys in Hancock, Michigan circa 1980. I liked it so much I absconded with it when I moved

Thanks Gary, as a retired sailor I’d say I’m definitely biased.
Notable pair, Rachel; I especially like that Morley!A pair of oldies today:

A wide-ranging brain sounds good, but geezerly knees are the pits, Jeff. All the walking I've done during the pandemic has seemed to been very beneficial for my previously-balky knees. Thanks, Professor!
My brain is freely wandering the past, but my knees are trending toward geezerhood.![]()
Fantastic rainbow shot, ED!The view from our TV-room last evening as the sun was setting and shining on the hill behind our house after a light rain.

Cracking some ice with a pair of Hammer brands, JJ - doesn't get much better than that!
WSingle spring, probably 1940s, all steel furniture. I really like carrying this knife; I even take it out of me pocket and admire it. Very slicy, a bit tired.View attachment 1938279View attachment 1938280View attachment 1938281
