What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I think most of the following quotes are from about a week ago. So sue me; I've been busy! :rolleyes:🤓

That knife continues to improve with age, John; I hope the same is true of you personally! :thumbsup::thumbsup:🤓
I also really like the "setting", and I'll bet "knife on a knot" shots will be trending on BF very soon!

Your jigged wood toothpick is phenomenal, Tim! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sounds like you had mostly good surprises! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
Thanks for continuing to post photos from your trip. They often spark good memories of my daughter and I traveling around Spain almost 8 years ago. Did you happen to make it to Denia on the coast in the map you posted? My daughter spent a semester in Denia as part of a college program, and she took me there several years later. I was amazed that we would go out in the evening to participate in the evening paseo, walking along the main streets of Denia, and my daughter would almost always run into people who remembered her from her previous time there.
That slice of tortilla looks delectable - my favorite food while I visited Spain. Hot, cold, in a sandwich, always tasty!
I bought my daughter an Arcos kitchen knife at a cuchilleria in Valencia.
That young woman looks like she would be a pleasant traveling companion (unless she insisted that you wear clothing that matched hers o_O).

When my daughter and I tried to take a cab from the Valencia bus station to our hotel, the driver told us he could only get us within about 3 blocks of the hotel because he wouldn't be able to get through the crowd forming for a King's Day Eve parade (must have been January 5). After we left the cab, we had to drag our bags with us through the street packed with revelers!

Cool EO lambsfoot and commendable stag canoe! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

That lamb would light my lamp, Jack! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
I hope you're recovering quickly from the bout with COVID you fought recently!

:cool::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks for the extra info on that Old Hickory folder, Mike; intriguing! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

🤓:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Notable pair, Rachel; I especially like that Morley! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

A wide-ranging brain sounds good, but geezerly knees are the pits, Jeff. All the walking I've done during the pandemic has seemed to been very beneficial for my previously-balky knees.

Fantastic rainbow shot, ED! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Exquisite ebony whittler! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Cracking some ice with a pair of Hammer brands, JJ - doesn't get much better than that! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

W😲W! That's a vibrant vintage knife!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Jack. :) The Chinese Imperial Sodbuster Jr. is one of my least expensive knives, but it's at least as good as any other small sodbuster I have.
Your black/red combo is superb! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks,I stayed in Alcoy then had a ride out the next day though I didn’t get far.

I believe one of Jeff Foxworthy's "you might be a redneck" lines says "if you buy new clothes and wear them the next day, you might be a redneck". Well, that's me with knives. I got this 78 in yesterday and had to carry it today. The cattle knife is just along for the ride.

Glad to hear your okay. There are a lot of people who are probably not doing to well from this.
Thank you. More southern places like fort Myers got slammed. I went in around 4 to reopen the base so that our air craft could start operations to go out to the affected areas.

Glad you're ok :thumbsup:
Are you stationed down there or did you move?
Thank you. I’m stationed in Clearwater. I move one last to where I don’t know yet next summer.

Fantastic Mr P :cool: :thumbsup:
Thank you Mr. Jack. Unfortunate that you got the bug about the same time that you got another booster. The Buck is a nice gift. You sound like I did, the day I bought my black Sodbuster Jr., when I described that it brought me full circle from my youth. 🤣

Hope you fight off the bug without complication.

Cracking some ice with a pair of Hammer brands, JJ - doesn't get much better than that! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
Thanks a lot, Gary!!! :) :thumbsup:
Many thanks JJ, it looks like you mean business with that solid pair of workers :cool: Love the big Buck :) :thumbsup:
Thank you very much, Jack!!! They are certainly tough hombres! :):thumbsup:
I'm still carrying my Hartshead Barlow, but it's joined today by a knife I've just received, in a generous California care package, from Tyson A Wright - my teenage dream, a Buck 110! :) Thank you very much Tyson, you've made me feel like a teenager! :D :) :thumbsup:

That's certainly an awesome Thursday pairing, Jack; I've had quite a soft spot for the 110 since my teens, as well! :cool:😁👍👍

It was cold today so sadly didnt ride,everyone’s got coats on and sitting inside.
It feels like summer is over.
I had a few coffees and explored the old town.

I had the lady demonstrate the “pocket knife” for screened porch https://www.bladeforums.com/members/screened-porch.312952/ as he had shown an interest previously.
Its fully functional,folds and the lock works well.
The way the signorita was enjoying twirling it around and at one time scowling at me in a fighting stance made me realise,just don’t annoy her. 🤣
Oh I can just imagine how many years I would get if they searched my bags at border control and found it 🫣 😳 😁
