So true, F.C.! It’s good to have friends.Choices are a good thing, right? Unfortunately, I seem to buy them all to figure out which one is *best*, when honestly I could probably live with just my celluloid scaled SAK (vanity aside). Happy to talk tiny knives anytime Bart!
The wanton waste of natural resources just to clear land for more strip malls will have to end someday. I think you have burst my portable sawmill bubble Jeff, as my 1/4 acre urban yard is not going to accommodate a tractor or skid-steer without an outbuilding that there is no space for. Probably best, as that woodshed you're talking about might need to come first anyhow - basement is getting full. I should just find a friend like you have...

Thank you, my friend.Always good to see the Loyal Lamb!
Thanks,it’s good to know I am not the only oneFantastic photo my friend, and I’m sure it brings fond memories of that beautiful dog.
I recently submitted to an “urgent security update” from Apple, and to do so, had to free uo a significant chunk of memory, which was mostly my photos. Goodbye knife photos! But I carefully hung on to my people and my dog photos!
I can relate. I have a couple of pristine Schrades and Schrade Waldens that I’m careful with. The 233 jack I used yesterday is one. There’s something about being trusted with custody of a knife from a company which no longer exists.
Love the wagon wheel!
If you did not pick that out in person, someone in the online store chose some really nice wood for you.
You say basic, I say awesome.
So you bought another knife you didn’t need?
Admitting it to yourself and others is a good start. This forum is where you need to be. You’ll probably never be cured, but it’s nice being around others with the same affliction. For support and encouragement, you know.
I thoroughly enjoyed your photos from your long ride, Jim.
You’ll be glad to be home, I’ll bet.
Nice burl on your headknocker, buddy!
Oh yeah! That Maine Guide Gear fueled my dreams.
I see it was right where you left it. Even though asking “where did you leave it?” makes perfect sense, my wife never appreciates me asking.
Those are green onions, Gary. A variety called Guardsman, which grows a small bulb. They get pretty big, so we can hardly keep up with them. Supposed to have a light frost this weekend, but I expect it won’t hurt them at all.
Nice knife, and cute dogs! But… neither looks like a Lola to me. This is a Lola!Took out an Albers for a walk this morning. Here’s two of my favorite dogs that I give treats to. The dogs love it and so do I. Here are Lola and and Remus.

I feel your pain, Robb. But it’s my wife who’s seeing all those things that need doing.
Great birthday knives! You andJack Black as well. Happy Birthday, Josh!
Swing, and a miss! Thanks for the correction.
It really is, Jer. I’ve been thinking of taking it to the jewelry shop to have my initials engraved on the little engraving plate.
Hmm. Those would bring big bucks at the Kane County Flea Market!
Talk about no nonsense…
Happy Birthday Joshua, hope you have a great one!
Gorgeous photo, those two look great together Jon.
