What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A lovely last ride in Spain through the Basque region on Tuesday it looks quite Alpine in places.

A very low key carry on the ferry everything's legal but no point drawings attention.

Back home now and have cleaned the knives I took with me and pocketed something different for a change.

Also used the traditional brass letter opener I bought in Riopar to open my months worth of mail, photos to follow.

Never mind the Albatross @ 1 o'clock ... watch out for the Copperhead

Received this Hammer Brand today, has lots of issues and I didn't get a good deal but...I still like it lol. The two main blades have a bunch of play, two big gaps in the backsprings, not quite flush when open, I need to file the kick on the pen blade because the tip rides slightly high, and there are repairs on the mark side pearl. But it's also ~100 years old, the pearl is still beautiful, federal shields are my favorite, I love long pulls, 1/3 blades has good walk/talk and 2/3 have acceptable walk/talk. Cool history, beautiful, still a great user. The peanut (cashew*) is from waverave waverave , a pretty interesting duo of knives imo
