I think we're going to a niece's house for a look see at the new addition to her house. Other than that, the only other thing to do is stop at the Dairy Queen for an ice cream cone. Actually, it's an old Dairy Queen that is owned independently now and for the last twenty years the owners haven't bothered to take the Dairy Queen sign down. I'll be totin my newly arrived tank - a Barlow. Eggs and Jimmy Dean hot sausage for breakfast.

Lunchtime here at the McD house. 3 kids holler “Dahhhhhhd, can you peel us some apples?” Wait- I have a new knife that needs patina…



4th kid would never let me peel his apple. He has his own knife and isn’t going to miss a knifing opportunity.



Old Imperials are just dandy for 10 yr olds aspiring to peel apples and not lose their knives in the yard.

Who is the maker on the barlow? Old eyes can't make out the tang stamp. Love the knife.

I felt the same. It’s not a pattern I would gravitate to. But when I had merle, I really enjoyed using it. The size and all. Yet very thin. It’s a great pattern done in a great style.

I wanna know more about the car! I have the same ac vents for my 33 project lol. Check that screw in the left hand side. Looks like it may not be fully seated in its countersink.
