What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Took this photo after lunch, took a day off from a teacher’s workshop. After 32 years, if I don’t know what I’m doing yet, I never will! 🤣View attachment 1952308

Jeremy, you should have another career in product placement. 🤣

Gorgeous stag Jack. 😎👍

Outrageous Pete! 😎👍
Thanks Todd, I’ll have to look on Indeed for some prospects. I’m sure you got much more out of your time on the lake than you would have at the workshop. 👍🏻
Lunchtime here at the McD house. 3 kids holler “Dahhhhhhd, can you peel us some apples?” Wait- I have a new knife that needs patina…

4th kid would never let me peel his apple. He has his own knife and isn’t going to miss a knifing opportunity.

Old Imperials are just dandy for 10 yr olds aspiring to peel apples and not lose their knives in the yard.
Looks like a proper 47 now, Jon.

A fixed blade took the place of a modern folder in my trio today, so I think my carry finally qualifies. Feels nice spending a Saturday on the porch if you'll have me

I felt the same. It’s not a pattern I would gravitate to. But when I had merle, I really enjoyed using it. The size and all. Yet very thin. It’s a great pattern done in a great style.

I wanna know more about the car! I have the same ac vents for my 33 project lol. Check that screw in the left hand side. Looks like it may not be fully seated in its countersink.
Good eye on the screw :)

It’s a completely rebuild 54 Chevy.

One of GEC's finest, in my never humble opinion ;):D All steel, Spear/Coping, beautiful Ivory Smoothbone. Very grateful I got hold of one when they first came out, best of all Eurekas.

Thanks, Will
Agreed, Will. The Eureka Jack is one of my favorite patterns, and they did a great job on that particular run. I find the coping to be a very handy secondary - I wish we'd see them more often.
