I wanted to convey in that post to you just how rare that Barlow is and what fine condition it is in. I think you might have already realized that, as your post suggests.

I carry some of my rare stuff and cut stuff with them, but, nothing questionable and never pry anything with them.

What to with it: If it were mine, I would carry that one pretty often. Use it proudly. Maybe put a microchip inside the liner, in case you lose it.



Haters are going to be haters ! Nice pair of knives though.

Man, both are really great knives, but I absolutely love your calf roper!! The patina looks so good with the bolsters, shield, and micarta. It's just super sweet.

Thanks! I really do love that pair. You had a great pair of blood red bone today. I thought I might go for the 35 but I held off. I don’t usually go for reddish knives (being a Clemson fan has it’s orange demands!) - but it has really grown on me. Such a fine looking knife. Too many other endeavors lately!

Can’t wait to see that 72 you scored off the exchange the other day.

Brings back memories Bart. When my kids were in school we didn’t have many trick or treaters, but I’d sit out in the yard to keep kids from toilet papering our trees!

My kids are old enough now they can go around the neighborhood with their friends, so I stay home and hand out candy. No TP yet. That probably comes in high school

Looks like a spooky night... hope you got lots of trick-or-treat action.

We always get lots of kids on our street. It was a fun night

For sure. Hopefully it keeps coming and brings some snow. That Schrade is one of my favorites. I love the slender clip/sheepsfoot combo.

It had a broken main blade spring so I sent it to Case for warranty repair. They put in a new main blade and spring In it. No charge!
