Carrying these three today. The barrel knife i just cant kick out of my pocket. This weekend my three year old son and i went through my "knifes" and i let him pick two from each drawer for me to carry this week. And he picked the blue case and the pruner for me to carry today. He has developed very good taste at such a young age.

Northfield stags for this Monday. The Allegheny pattern is a bit large for comfortable pocket carry, but, I recently found that it fits perfectly in my horizontal Opinel belt sheath, which means it will get some tote time. I hardly notice that it is there in the sheath. 😊

Mercurial Stag!
Get it? Mercury, dime?🙄

Awesome NFs. But yeah, I imagine they’re to big for yoga pants. 🤓

The compass takes me back to basic training...no gps then.
Nice Northwoods.
It made me recall trying to help Boy Scouts earn their Orienteering Merit Badges.

GPS/Map apps on the iphone come in handy on the road, especially for finding an address in an unfamiliar town, but paper maps and the compass in my car get me there just fine.
Going interstate, I always take the latest official state roadmaps that they give away in the rest areas. I have a big binder full.

Your method is solid.... may confuse some youngsters! Going analogue( old school) is puzzling for some.

Bittersweet vines doing their best to pull down a garden gatepost I put in thirty years ago. I originally planted those vines against the house, which I do not recommend.

Cap made in Ireland, owned by a Scotsman who wrote his name on the label with a ballpoint pen, And sold in one of the two Armstrong’s Surplus/Thrift Shops in Edinborough. If you see Hugh Campbell, tell him an ex pat of the Duncan clan of Perth has his cap.233D1A39-0DFE-446E-BA66-563523FF0047.jpeg
