Thanks Jeremy, it’s an apple killer for sure. Thanks Todd. The Case Chestnut looks like a great worker.
More than once.Did you lose your wee shield?![]()
Nice trio sir. Hot coffee outside with a little snow. Bet the coffee tasted better. How did the veggies fair?
Thanks, Todd. I hadn’t noticed that…I mean, yeah, I did that on purposeGreat pairing Bart. I like how we can see both sides of your Eureka, cool!

Barlow and a Scout - a match made in heaven!
It is an awesome scene. Once they drop their feet and cup their wings it is game on. Especially when the ducks are the big, fat northern birds migrating down from Canada and beyond.I've never duck hunted but I can picture that, the view over water, looking at the gray sky through snowfall with the ducks coming in and setting their wings for a landing.
An awesome scene for sure.
Pocketed some Osage around the house today myself.

Very nice of RachelThank you! I have had that trapper since buying it new in high school in the ‘70s, and Rachel (r8shell ), kindly blessed me with the two stockman knives (“stockmen” sounds awkward, doesn’t it?) to complete the family!
That first cup of the day is the best, huh?
As for the vegetables, I finally harvested the last of the brussels sprouts, about two gallons, all of the remaining celery, and the last two heads of cauliflower. What’s exciting is that the lettuces still out there seem healthy and are still growing, albeit very slowly. My goal is to serve fresh salad out of my garden to my guests on Thanksgiving Day.
HOWEVER, single digit temps are predicted Sunday night, so that will likely be the end of the garden.
Wonderful trio you have there Jack. A meat pie does not stand a chance. Let it be a good day for you.I'm armed to the teeth today!Have a good day everyone

Cool little carry.
Stamped blade?? Always a mark of class. Like the small bolster too, really suitable.
Hopefully not too late Pete, however it looks like you have a nice companion.
It’s a heck of a knife. Thanks again JeremyIf you’re going to be at work late, there are certainly worse knives to be there with.
Thanks Jack. I do adore this one feel very fortunate to have one.Hope you get an easier day today PeteGreat knife
