It has been a very unusual day today . It started with me carrying 4 knives . These 3 to just take photos of together .

And this one for working on a Project for SWMBO

Kind of filled the pockets .

Many thanks JJ, that was my grandfather's 25 year watch. He was a wire-weaver, and the 6th employee ('Number 6 Hammer') at what became a very large firm here. I don't think many companies give out gold watches to their humble employees today I'm afraid

I started the week with these two from Robeson made a couple decades apart.

5K Qs Thanks for your appreciation of the Berthier knife GT. Slight correction needed though, it's not Barehead (1 bolster)it's Shadow (0 bolsters) Has firework on the spring and spine, a Cigar type Equal End. My ancient Swedish carpenter's folding ruler tells me it's 4 1/8" or 10.5cm (the ruler has dual Imperial/Metric very useful) Really pleased with it.

Here's a grimy picture, with grimy nail during our grimy twilight 9 am-15.00 but gives you an idea.
