Hi fellas, think there's any room on the porch for another?

The only knife I'm toting this morning is the lil' Frenchie. A bit of repast after a long stormy Thansgiving night when the Koolie dog couldn't decide if she was safer sleeping on top of my head or somehow inside it. Her sister fared a bit better, but that was mostly for show I think. She puts on a brave front.
The elderly Boston has been stone deaf for a few years. He had no idea it was storming.

So, a nice quiet morning is welcome.

I hope you all are doing well!

If anyone cares: Pens are Hero 616 "Doctor" pens, with Noodlers Black, "Red-Black" and "Marine Green" inks to match the pen color.

Have a great weekend, please. I hope no one gets a situation where it is necessary to shovel cloud dandruff off their roofs like areas of Upstate New York experienced a few days ago, or from their walks and driveway.

I've noticed that in the Old Knives thread pristine, etches intact still got the ink on the blades kinda knives causes us to drool and marvel. We often wonder how such a knives passed a century or more without use. But then there's the knives that were carried and used and sometimes repaired along the way. And everyone drools and marvels and wonders "Boy if that thing could talk, the stories it could tell" . Well Ol'97 here is well on its way to the "stories it could tell" and for myself I wouldn't have it any other way. So back in the day there must've been safe queens just as today, and users as well. We enjoy each in their own way and from the start it proves that there's no wrong way to enjoy the hobby.
That's beautiful, man!

Solid choice 👌🏼. I think it would be cool to have a small EDC fixed blade thread. I need to start educating myself on all the options…
I think that would be a great thread. The small fixed blade that Rose and Thistle made and posted in this thread a couple days ago looked awesome.
