What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've never gone for the copper bolsters, but paired w/ the burlap micarta like that, well ... it's a fetching pattern. Lovely bit of kit
Thanks, I really enjoy watching the patina develop on the copper. 😎👍
Sounds like a great day, Todd. Hope y’all found just the right tree 👍
Thanks Greg. We did find a nice big Fraser fur, tall but not too fat. 😄
Been a while since I’ve checked in. Enjoyed catching up on all the beautiful knives and happenings. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Been enjoying this 78 lately. Best,

Cool 78, love your sunset and sunrise photos. 😎👍
Awesome knife for the day, Todd. We got our tree yesterday. It’s a fun tradition the kids really look forward to doing.
Our kids are now 19 and 22, and it was fun listening to them talk about our tradition to my son’s girlfriend. 😎👍
I stayed around home and carried my stag 25 today.

Such an awesome little knife. That shield looks so cool tucked into that stag. 😎👍
A little barehead jack for now. Hopefully a quiet day.
Just found out, time for those hanging Christmas lights!!!

Sounds like a lovely day Todd :)
Thanks Jack. 😎👍
I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, and that you have a nice, relaxing Sunday :) Double Lambs and a newly arrived BPS HK4 from Ukraine :)

Looking great Jack. 😎👍

Looks like a great day with the family, Jon. That could be your Christmas card 👍
Thanks Bart! I would be just fine with a Christmas card with an orange and purple color theme with tiger paws everywhere…but not so much the preference of that pretty blonde lady 😂!
Sweet family pic Jon :) Looks they emptied your wallet in the merch shop buddy! :D ;)

I’m the one demanding that everyone wears orange on game day! Gotta keep the school spirit high! I’m sure my wife was thrilled when she discovered that I was a big fan of a school with road construction orange colors!

Great carry today sir! Love these knives!

Safe travels, John. You picked a nice one to accompany you.
Thank you, Bart. :)
That antique cowboy figure is so cool... where'd you find it?
Most Excellent Vintage Case. 🤠
Great to have you back buddy
Thank you, Jack. :)
That's a Jewel of a Lambsfoot. 🤠
The flowers look like some old school Bucs color. 🤠

These are some "best on page" quotes I compiled from Wednesday and Thursday. I intended to post them Friday, but that's the day I said I'd do our entire "modified Thanksgiving feast" on our little gas grill, and after meticulous planning, the whole operation veered out of control. But that's a story for a different day.

Thanksgiving tote. Wishing everyone the best.
The breathtaking bone on your Bose must inspire plenty of gratitude, LT!!:thumbsup::cool:

Off for Thanksgiving break so I’m in my favorite spot. 😉👍
Going with the PJ today. View attachment 1996582
"Smoke on the water,
A fire in the sky!"
Pony Jack and slip look appealing in the great outdoors, Todd!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

I was almost singing the blues too Gary, but the Blues won in a shootout. 😊👍
Your support undoubtedly gave them the slight edge they needed! 🤓

Handsome brass (?) "multitool"!:cool::thumbsup: What blade/tool selection does it contain?

Stunning stag pair, Bob! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

Gary that was very gracious of you to acknowledge my knives , as well as the other members.
I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Bob
Thanks for the holiday well-wishes, Bob, and I hope your Thanksgiving was memorable.:cool::thumbsup:
I appreciate your comment about my acknowledging some of the knives folks post here, and you hand out a lot of compliments yourself! The main difference is you do it one post at a time in a timely manner, and I save up a bunch of posts on which to comment all in the same post and end up doing so sometimes days after the original posts appeared. o_O

Splendid wood, Steve, especially that spalted beech!:cool::cool:

We don't have a Thanksgiving Day here, worse luck, but I am thankful for all my wonderful US friends, and wish you and your families, a very happy one :)

Well said, Jack, and that jigged bone WCLF ought to inspire an attitude of gratitude!🤓

Remington UMC R-1 that belonged to my good friend Rick who passed away peacefully in his sleep on Monday morning.

I’ll forever miss you in the field, my friend.

My sympathies for your loss, sir.

I am afraid it is infested pretty badly my friend. 😲 😊
I see a mouse portrait with a long nose and wearing sunglasses, portrait of a bulldog, face of a Baboon, and a Gargoyle.
I like the forge marks on your Imperial blades.
Be careful out there !
............... and have a nice Thanksgiving ! 😊
Thanks for the info, Rob! :eek:o_O
I can usually see what I'm up against when examining wood burl, but I don't seem to have the eye to see the "devils in the details" of abstract acrylic/celluloid.

Very nice 🙂👍
Thanks, Jack. :)

Thanks, Gary. I don’t have many baseball and knife pictures but I should, they are two things I thoroughly enjoy 👍
:thumbsup::cool: I used to enjoy baseball a lot more than I do now. I still follow the MLB pennant races, but I don't think I've watched an entire MLB game on TV since the Cubs won the World Series, and haven't attended a major League game in 30 years. And I miss playing city league or church league slo-pitch softball in the summer. I played at least 10 games per year from 1975 through 2017, but then cataracts forced me to quit.

Giving thanks for the two vintage Cases I found this year, to add to that collection. A 6165 SAB (10 dot c. 1970) and a 6207(c. 1965-69). I'll give thanks for family with my family tomorrow evening, since my cooking doesn't happen till then. For today, I hope to get in a nice long walk and watch the Bills and Lions game, then hope for a good nap with Elijah J.

Hope everyone has a fine Thanksgiving ! 😊

Congrats on finding those two beauties!:thumbsup::cool: I really like that 6207 jack (before they turned into mini trappers).

Jaw-dropping jigging on that vintage Valley Forge jack!:thumbsup:😲

Reflective still waters run deep on a quiet Thanksgiving afternoon
Since that's the case, I need a canoe ...

Ji0mU9B.jpg
Captivating Case canoe! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Headed to the Outlaws, AKA the ex in-laws, in a bit for turkey. Yes, even my ex will be there and I am thankful she’s my ex🤣🤣🤣🤣. I started to grab a Calf Roper but stopped when I looked at this Schrade 895.

View attachment 1997823
That Schrade is long, lean, and lovely!!:cool::thumbsup:

...
Two perfectly sharp and capable knives, the Case Moose, and Schrade 125OT, went completely unused, so I am compelled to re-tote them tomorrow.

A post meal chance to put my feet up in front of the fireplace, take a knife photo, and ignore the football being watched by my brothers in law, before I have to go up and start doing dishes.
Sounds like you orchestrated the holiday meal well, Jeff! And those are definitely a capable pair of folders!:cool::thumbsup:
What really caught my eye in your photo, though, was the old galvanized metal cinder/ash bucket; I haven't seen one of those in a very long time!
