What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Rough R yder RR1740 Classic Carbon (large, 4.25 inch closed) Stockman (possess half stops so safe to open the blades like this.)
Toferner Celtic Pocket/Neck knife. A "true" "EDC". I've carried it every day since 11-04-2021. 😇

Thanks for pointing out the half stops, my stainless version doesn't have them so I may have to pick up the carbon version soon.

My B-Day carry today
Couldn’t think of a better carry then my beloved Bladeforums knife .

Happy Birthday

Sounds like you orchestrated the holiday meal well, Jeff! And those are definitely a capable pair of folders!:cool::thumbsup:
What really caught my eye in your photo, though, was the old galvanized metal cinder/ash bucket; I haven't seen one of those in a very long time!

I think that coal scuttle was my Grandma’s.
I don’t clean out the fireplace too often, because I prefer a deep bed of ashes to bank a fire and keep some embers alive all night. But when it needs a clean out, I do not recommend a paper sack!😵‍💫

I haven’t been posting as often as I’d like to but I’ve been taking photos of the knives I’ve been totin’. Here’s a pair from Thanksgiving. Hope everyone is doing well, can’t believe a year has passed. Felt like yesterday when I received Merle to carry him into the New Year, it will be a year in a months time, crazy!

I have to decide what kind of image I'd like to put in that oval on the handle. I figure maybe I can find a good image on paper, cut it to fit, glue it in, and then "seal" over it with some kind of clear, transparent sealant/glue/whatever.

If you seal over a paper image with some sort of epoxy or acrylic, maybe do that process off the knife, then glue the resulting shield into place. That’s what I would do, but only because I always make a huge mess of anything like epoxy, glue, paint, caulk, silicone, etc…
